A high-necked, Victorian-inspired blouse, to add a touch of romance to your image. Gathered sleeves, a stand collar and flouncing frills: the basic blueprint for a classic ruffled blouse.

Esme is a loose fitting straight-cut blouse that features a stand collar, button-front fastening with button rouleau loops. The Esme blouse has V-shaped yoke. The voluminous semi-raglan sleeves are gathered at the cap and bottom, and have cuffs with rouleau loop button fastening. The stand collar, V-shape yoke and cuffs are trimmed with narrow double ruffles. The Esme blouse is hip-length.

There are two views included in this pattern:

View A has long sleeves;

View B has 3/4 sleeves.

To sew the Esme blouse, choose fabrics with the following properties:

- Light-weight, structured, breathable;

- The fabric content can include natural (cotton, linen, wool), artificial (viscose), blends (linen + cotton, cotton + viscose, wool+cotton, etc.), and synthetic fibers (polyester);

- The following fabrics are recommended: shirting, dress weight cotton, linen, poplin.

The sample is made from light-weight cotton.
