To sew the Zephyr skirt, choose dress-weight fabrics with the following properties:

- light to medium weight (2.7-4.5 oz/yd2, 90-150 g/m2), structured, pliable,

- the fiber content can include natural fibers (cotton, linen), blends (cotton + polyester, cotton + elastane, etc.), and synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane),

- the following fabrics are recommended: cotton, linen, poplin, lawn, batiste, voile.

Print recommendation: opt for a plain fabric or one with a non-contrasting print to ensure the skirt’s design features are visible. Avoid bold or busy prints that might overpower the skirt’s tucks.
